The Full Story
Sage Feedback LLC was formed by George Buckbee in 2021. Having spent an entire career in the field of process control, automation, analytics, management, and consulting, he decided to retire from full-time work in 2021.

Always interested in helping others to succeed, George launched Sage Feedback LLC in 2022, with the intention of helping individuals and companies to get better results. Sage delivers consulting services and educational products to help people get more from their business.
TEAM
George Buckbee, P.E. is a veteran of the process control industry. He holds a B.S. in Chemical Engineering from Washington University in St. Louis, and an M.S. in Chemical Engineering from the University of California, Santa Barbara.

In the early years of his career, George gained a practical grounding in industrial facilities, working for Procter & Gamble, and for Aventis (Sanofi). He led projects and started focusing on control system optimizations.
​
Mid-career George focused on finding ways to improve plant operations, and especially in finding ways to help others achieve the same kind of big improvements from better controls. Through his connection to ExperTune, he helped to define software and services that would enable others to get similar results. When ExperTune was sold to Metso/Neles, George led the ExperTune team as it grew into a global player in software and consulting services.

An active instructor and author, George has written dozens of articles published in magazines around the world. A member of ISA since the 1980's he was elected a Fellow of ISA in 2011. George has written two books for ISA, and remains active on the Publications Committee there.

Now semi-retired, George enjoys an active life full of tennis, golf, kayaking, and hiking. He is Past Master and Trustee of Waverly Lodge #301, F&AM. He resides with his wife Mary Ellen in Pennsylvania.

In 2022, he formed Sage Feedback LLC as a vehicle to continue to contribute to the field of process control on a part-time basis.
